The Painted Hall, Chapel & Visitor Centre
Daily | 10am-5pm (last entry 4.30pm)

We run talks throughout the day in the Painted Hall as well as daily tours that are all included in the price of your ticket; simply join a tour on the day.*

*Subject to availability, please ask a member of staff what tours are available on the day.

600 Years of History Tours
Daily | 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm

Painted Hall Talks
Daily | 11am, 11.30am, 12pm, 12.30pm, 1pm, 1.30pm, 2pm, 2.30pm, 3pm, 3.30pm and 4pm

Blockbuster Film Tours
Saturdays and Sundays | 12:30pm, 2:30pm

Closures

When we are hosting special events, we sometimes need to close areas early. Any early or partial closures will be published on our website below, in advance.

The Painted Hall and Undercroft Cafe will close:

• Saturday 11 May – early closure at 3.30pm
• Wednesday 10 July – early closure at 4pm
• Saturday 20 July – early closure at 3.30pm
• Saturday 27 July – early closure at 4.30pm
• Sunday 18 August – early closure at 3.30pm
• Saturday 24 August – early closure at 2pm
• Saturday 7 September – early closure at 3.30pm
• Tuesday 24 December – Thursday 26 December – all day

The Chapel will close:

• Monday 15 July – Friday 19 July – all day
