Daily | 10am-5pm (last entry 4.30pm)

Daily | 8am-11pm
Closures
When we are hosting special events, we sometimes need to close areas early. Any early or partial closures will be published on our website below, in advance.
The Painted Hall will close:
- Monday 2 September – full closure
- Tuesday 3 September – early closure at 3pm
- Saturday 7 September – early closure at 3.30pm
- Sunday 8 September – Friday 13 September – full closure
- Saturday 14 September – late opening at 2pm
- Sunday 22 September – early closure at 1pm
- Monday 23 September – full closure
- Friday 22 November – full closure
- Thursday 12 December – early closure at 4pm
- Tuesday 24 December – Thursday 26 December – all day
- Wednesday 29 January 2025 – full closure
The Chapel will close:
- Monday 2 September – all day
- Thursday 11 July – from 12.30pm to 3.10pm.
- Monday 15 July – Friday 19 July – all day
- Monday 28 October – Friday 1 November – all day
Tours
We run talks throughout the day in the Painted Hall as well as daily tours that are all included in the price of your ticket; simply join a tour on the day.*
*Subject to availability, please ask a member of staff what tours are available on the day.
