The iconic Old Royal Naval College, right in the heart of the maritime Greenwich World UNESCO heritage site, attracts film-makers and photographers from around the world.

We can accommodate a wide range of filming and photography requests including:

  • Documentary and commercial filming
  • Personal and commercial photography
  • Wedding photography
  • News and media


Personal photography

Photography for personal use only is free of charge but the use of tripods, lighting etc. is not allowed.

Commercial photography

For commercial photography or photography using professional equipment, please contact us at facilities@ornc.org or call 020 8269 4790.

A licence will be issued and a fee charged dependent on your requirements. Due to the nature of the site and the various events that take place here, it may not always be possible to grant photography/filming permission.

Wedding Photography

Holding your wedding at the Old Royal Naval College gives you the exclusive right to have your wedding photographs taken in our grounds.
