In this session children will learn about the fire that took place at the Chapel of the Royal Hospital for sailors in 1779 and consider similarities and differences between this fire and that of the Great Fire of London.

Using replicas, children will be able to explore the tools used to put the fire out and will then decorate a fire plaque for the Chapel.
