Closures
When we are hosting special events, we sometimes need to close areas early. Any early or partial closures will be published on our website below, in advance.
The Painted Hall will close:
- Thursday 22 October – from 4pm
- Monday 26 October – from 1pm
- Wednesday 4 November – from 3pm
- From Monday 16 to Thursday 19 November – all day
- Tuesday 24 November – from 3pm
- From Monday 8 to Thursday 11 February 2027– all day
The Chapel will close:
- Wednesday 21 October – all day
- From Monday 26 to Friday 30 October – all day
- Thursday 26 November – all day
Tours
We run talks throughout the day in the Painted Hall as well as daily tours that are all included in the price of your ticket; simply join a tour on the day.*
*Subject to availability, please ask a member of staff what tours are available on the day.

Daily | every 30 minutes from 11am to 4pm
