Closures

When we are hosting special events, we sometimes need to close areas early. Any early or partial closures will be published on our website below, in advance.

The Painted Hall will close:

• Saturday 6 June 2026 – from 3pm
• Sunday 21 June 2026 – from 3:30 pm
• Saturday 27 June 2026 – from 3pm
• From Sunday 28 June to Thursday 2 July 2026 – all day
• Saturday 4 July 2026 – from 3:30 pm
• From Thursday 30th July to – Sunday 2nd August 2026 – all day
• From Thursday 6th August to Sunday 9th August 2026 – all day
• From Friday 14th  to Sunday 16th August 2026 – all day
• Saturday 22 August 2026 – from 3pm
• Saturday 29 August 2026 – from 4pm

Tours

We run talks throughout the day in the Painted Hall as well as daily tours that are all included in the price of your ticket; simply join a tour on the day.*

*Subject to availability, please ask a member of staff what tours are available on the day.
