GAIA

A light and audio installation which reflects the ‘Overview Effect’, which was first described by author Frank White in 1987, and it describes sense of wonder that astronauts experience when they look back at the Earth from space. Measuring seven metres in diameter and created from 120dpi detailed NASA imagery of the Earth’s surface, the artwork slowly revolves and is accompanied by a specially made surround sound composition by BAFTA award winning composer Dan Jones.

MUSEUM OF THE MOON

A touring light and audio artwork celebrating and collecting the symbolism, stories and mythologies around the moon. The installation is a fusion of lunar imagery, moonlight and surround sound composition created by BAFTA and Ivor Novello award winning composer Dan Jones.

MARS
23 November 2024 – 20 January 2025
An artwork that transports viewers to the desert wasteland of Mars. Every valley, crater, volcano and mountain is laid bare, allowing visitors to imagine what it’s like to step foot on this incredible planet.

HELIOS
25 January 2025 – 25 March 2025
Named after the ancient Greek and Roman sun god, symbolic of time and life, Helios honours the Sun’s profound impact on human history and culture. Every centimetre of the seven metre internally lit artwork represents 2000km of the Sun’s fiery expanse. This is a rare opportunity to closely examine the star’s extraordinary surface in astonishing detail.
