Closures

When we are hosting special events, we sometimes need to close areas early. Any early or partial closures will be published on our website below, in advance.

The Painted Hall will close:

• Saturday 2 May 2026 – from 3pm
• Saturday 6 June 2026 – from 3pm
• Saturday 27 June 2026 – from 3pm
• From Sunday 28 June to Friday 3 July 2026 – all day
• Saturday 4 July 2026 – from 3:30 pm
• Sunday 5 July 2026 – from 4:30 pm
• Sunday 11 July 2026 – from 4:30 pm

The Chapel will close:

Tours

We run talks throughout the day in the Painted Hall as well as daily tours that are all included in the price of your ticket; simply join a tour on the day.*

*Subject to availability, please ask a member of staff what tours are available on the day.
