What can I see for free?

Our extensive riverside grounds are open daily for you to explore. They are a perfect place to relax, stroll, or have a picnic, surrounded by some of the finest buildings in the world. You can also visit the Chapel of St Peter and St Paul to admire the neoclassical interiors, to listen to the Monday Evensong, or to attend a Chapel Service. Find out what’s on at the Chapel.

Getting to Greenwich

Located right beside the River Thames in London, we’re a short journey away from the centre of the City and very easy to reach by tube, train, bus, boat or bike. Our Visitor Centre is only a couple of minutes’ walk from the pier or DLR station and directly opposite the famous ship, The Cutty Sark.
