This KS2 black history session and accompanying resources links directly to the study of local history in History. It also links to writing-composition in English and geographical skills in Geography.
Our films look at the lives of black people who lived and worked on the site of the Old Royal Naval College over the last 500 years, with a focus on black sailors at the Royal Hospital for Seamen.
The downloadable sessions feature engaging activities connected to the films which can be undertaken in class.
