The Old Royal Naval College is excited to announce that we have launched an online shop to sit alongside the two shops we have onsite, presenting gifts and souvenirs inspired by the art, architecture and history of our spectacular buildings and grounds. The shop brings together the product lines from both of our onsite stores and makes them available to those who are not able to visit the site in-person.

Almost two years after the opening of a second onsite store, underneath the Painted Hall, retail has gone from strength to strength at the Old Royal Naval College, with the launch of successful collaborations with award-wining illustrator Nick Ellwood, featured product ranges from local artists and makers, and the Painted Hall shop being recognised as a finalist for Shop of the Year at the Museum and Heritage Awards 2020. We are excited that our new online shop will bring our beautiful products and ranges to a wider audience and connect more people with the stories of the Old Royal Naval College.

Developed throughout the end of 2020 and start of 2021 in response to Covid’s impacts on our physical retail, the online shop will provide us with an additional revenue stream which is not dependent on having visitors onsite and will ensure we are able to remain resilient despite the ongoing situation. All purchases directly support our work to preserve our heritage for the future.
