Old Royal Naval College Reopening 3 December
Thu 26 Nov 20
Following the latest update from the UK Government today (26 November 2020), we are very pleased to announce the Old Royal Naval College will be reopening on Wednesday 2 December, with some exciting plans for the Christmas period.
The Painted Hall, Visitor Centre, and Chapel will be open from 10am – 5pm every day, with the exception of Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Both of our gift shops will be open for all of your Christmas shopping needs, and the Painted Hall Café will also be open.
Our festive activities in December start with the installation of a large Christmas Tree in Upper Grand Square for all to enjoy. Other events include a pop-up festive theatre performance for children in the beautiful riverside grounds, a local arts and crafts market and virtual carol services.

The Old Royal Naval College has the safety of our visitors at the forefront of all we do as we open our doors again on Thursday 3 December.
In line with London’s Tier 2 status, we will be reopening all of our buildings and expansive grounds with social distancing and ‘rule of 6’ guidelines in place, and we will continue to require that all visitors wear a face covering while indoors or on guided tours. We also ask that you only visit with members of your household or support bubble.
The Old Brewery will also be reopening in line with government guidance, and has Christmas activities planned, more details can be found on their website.
All our events and activities are subject to changes in the government guidance regarding Covid-19. All changes to programming will be updated on our website, so please check back regularly.
