Old Royal Naval College wins Best of Royal Greenwich Business award
Fri 19 Jan 18
On Friday 19 January 2018, the first Best of Royal Greenwich Business awards, showcasing business excellence from the best organisations within the borough, were held at the Intercontinental London – the O2.
The Old Royal Naval College was chosen as the winner of the Tourism and Culture award, sponsored by MBNA Thames Clippers. This is wonderful news for the Old Royal Naval College, and confirmation of its role not just as the architectural centrepiece of Maritime Greenwich, but as a cultural destination in its own right, fundamental to the tourism offer in the Royal Borough.
Angela McConville, Chief Executive and Sarah Duthie, Director of Public Engagement, receiving the award, with Countdown’s Nick Hewer and Scott Eames from category sponsor MBNA Thames Clippers
The awards promote local commerce and highlight the vital role businesses and cultural organisations play in providing sustainable growth in Greenwich. The ceremony was an opportunity to celebrate Royal Greenwich’s diverse business sector, and show how we work together to support our local community.
