With the expected heatwave in London this bank holiday weekend, the Old Royal Naval College has taken the decision to postpone this year’s Greenwich Dog Show.

Despite planning for all eventualities, including providing for warm weather conditions, we felt this is the correct decision to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of the dogs and their humans who were booked to attend.

Scheduled to take place on Sunday 24 May 2026, the much-loved community event will now be taking place on Saturday 13 June 2026.

Matthew Mees, Chief Executive of the Old Royal Naval College, said: “As a dog owner myself, the health and wellbeing of the dogs scheduled to join us on Sunday is of paramount importance. That is why – in view of the forecasted extreme heat in London this weekend – we’ve taken the difficult decision to postpone this weekend’s event. We look forward to bringing the Greenwich Dog Show to our community later this year.”

All ticketholders and competition entrants will be automatically transferred to the new date. If the new date is not feasible, refunds on competition entries will be permitted.
