Explore space and popular culture through music

You’re invited to an out-of-hours event under Luke Jerram’s Mars that explores the fascinating connection between space exploration and popular culture through music. With two distinct sessions, stay for one or stay for both and party the night away!

Whether you’re a Jedi Master, a Martian explorer, or a fan of futuristic fashion, don your favourite sci-fi, space-themed or cutting-edge cyberpunk costume and step into a world were art, music, and space collide. 

Sample space themed cocktails, with our bespoke ‘Cosmonaut’ and ‘Martians’ available to purchase at the bar. Dress up optional – take a selfie of your stellar dress under Mars and tag @oldroyalnavalcollege and #PartyUnderMars to be considered for the best dressed. This event is for adults aged 18 and over. A valid form of ID must be shown on arrival.  

Session 1 | Live Performance & DJ 

Time: 6.30pm–9pm
Cost: £40, concessions £35

Prepare to be transported to another galaxy with a live string performace before our electrifying DJ spinning a mix of classic space anthems and modern electronic beats. Get ready to groove to an eclectic space-themed soundtrack from David Bowie and Pink Floyd, Jhena Ako, SZA, and more, all under the mesmerising glow of Mars. 

Session 2 | Silent Disco

Time: 9pm–Midnight
Cost: £40, concessions £35

A silent disco featuring cosmic pop anthems, we invite you to experience the universe through a new lens. Space themed cocktails available to purchase at the bar, and 360 photobooth to allow guests to capture the atmospheric aesthetic of the party. 

Full Mars Party

Time: 6.30pm–Midnight
Cost: £70, concessions £65
