As a charity, we rely on the support of our visitors to maintain this beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site. Every ticket purchased contributes to the preservation of this historic site for generations.
To say thank you for this vital support, you can convert your Painted Hall ticket into an Annual Pass at no extra cost, granting you free access to all that the Old Royal Naval College has to offer for 12 months including the Painted Hall, exhibitions, tours, Discover Greenwich and more.
How do I get an Annual Pass?
- If you have booked a ticket but not visited yet, on the day of your visit, simply ask a member of staff at any of our ticket desks to convert your ticket or follow the instructions the card you receive.
- If you have already visited, click here to submit your ticket details.
What tickets can be converted into an Annual Pass?
- General Admission adult, concession* or ArtPass
- Secret Dome Tours
- Special tours
*Excludes Universal Credit Day Ticket and First Sundays tickets
Please note you will not receive an Annual Pass confirmation email. Your Annual Pass will take up to 1-2 weeks to activate.
How do I book a return ticket with my Annual Pass?
Simply present your name at the ticket counter together with a valid ID such as a passport, driver’s license, or credit/debit card. Upon verification, you will receive a complimentary admission ticket for that day, subject to availability

Terms and conditions
- Annual Passes are non-transferable and exclude entry to special events.
- Annual Passes include free unlimited entry to the Painted Hall, regular tours, and the Visitor Centre for 12 months, valid from the date you book to visit the Painted Hall.
- Universal Credit Day Tickets and First Sundays tickets cannot be converted into Annual Passes.
- One Annual Pass per person. If you have booked tickets for multiple people, please register for each person in your party.
- Annual Passes grant you unlimited entry during normal hours. Please check the website for opening hours.
- Annual Passes converted from special tours such as Secret Dome Tours are valid for standard admission to the Painted Hall, regular tours, and the Visitor Centre but not to repeat the tour.
- Complimentary tickets cannot be converted into an Annual Pass.
- Tickets booked through third party websites, tour operators, ticket agents and those purchased in the Visit Greenwich Tourist Information Centre cannot be converted into an Annual Pass.
