Summer Holiday Activities
We love to welcome visitors of all ages and we have plenty going on throughout the summer to entertain the whole family. The Old Brewery pub has a delicious children’s menu and we have baby changing facilities at the Painted Hall and Visitor Centre. Children under 16 can visit the Painted Hall for free with paying adults (up to four children per adult).
Painted Hall Family Trail
Included in your ticket and created especially for the Old Royal Naval College, the beautifully illustrated Family Trail is packed full of activities to bring the Painted Hall to life for younger visitors (aimed at 7-11 year olds). Pick one up from the Painted Hall ticket desk. Our interactive multimedia guides are also a fun way for older children to learn more about the Painted Hall’s fascinating history, available from our Visitor Experience Team.

Be sure to also look out for History Riot‘s costumed characters, bringing history to life with interactive moments across our grounds. Don’t forget to show us who you meet when you tag us on our social media channels!
