Meet The Past

Fourth Sunday of the month | 11am-3.30pm
Tickets: £FREE
Old Royal Naval College Grounds

Plan A Visit

On the fourth Sunday of each month, come and meet someone from history. As you walk the grounds of the Old Royal Naval College, a different historical character will be there each month to regale you with stories of the past.

Children are free to ask questions and find out about some of the people who we can usually only read about in history books.

No payment necessary – just come along and strike up a conversation! Come to the Visitor Centre on the day to find out more.

Sunday 25 September: Joe Brown

Sunday 30 October (not on the usual fourth Sunday due to Diwali): Come and meet the famous 16th century pirate Grace O’Malley and follow a spooky pirate trail. Come to the Visitor Centre from 11am – 12pm to hear about some of her pirate adventures, before picking up your free pirate trail. Grace can be found walking the grounds until 3:30pm, so feel free to strike up a conversation!

Sunday 27th November: Nicholas Hawksmoor
