Plan A Visit

Come and take part in creative making sessions on the second Sunday of each month. Learn about the stories behind our buildings here at the Old Royal Naval College and use a range of materials to make your own creations to take home.

Free drop-in Creative Arts sessions for families. Aimed at children from 5+, but all children are welcome. No need to book but there is limited availability so that social distancing can be maintained.

Come to the Visitor Centre and head upstairs to the Clore Learning Room.


Sunday 10 October
Learn about the different historic people and characters depicted on our buildings. Create your own clay face relief to take home (this will need to left to air-dry once home).

Sunday 14 November
No session due to Remembrance Sunday activities on site.

Sunday 12 December
Victorian themed Christmas crafts.

Sunday 9 January
Get your science and design technology thinking hats on and work together to design and make your own boats.

Sunday 13 February
Create puppets based on characters from Greek myths.

Sunday 13 March
Make and decorate your own telescopes.
