There are distances of 100+ meters between some of the stops, and there are some uneven surfaces (e.g. cobblestones) onsite. Please wear sensible shoes and be prepared to stand for a few minutes at a time at each tour stop. (The Painted Hall has plenty of comfortable benches.)

This tour is not easily accessible for wheelchairs or those who struggle with walking distances of 100-200 metres between stops. For mobility support or planning, please contact teamleader@ornc.org before booking and we will do all we can to accommodate you.

Full-size mobility scooters are welcome outdoors but cannot come into the Painted Hall due to historic stone flooring. Use of a wheelchair can be arranged.

There is a lift to the main part of the Painted Hall; the smaller upper section of the Hall is currently accessible only via steps. If you will need the lift or have any mobility concerns generally, please let us know when you book so we can support you appropriately!

Lift access is available. Please let us know at time of booking.

Guide and assistance dogs are welcome.

We will meet promptly at 11am in the Painted Hall cafe, which is underneath the Painted Hall.
