What’s included in my ticket?

Prepare to be stunned by the magnificent Baroque interiors of the Painted Hall, known as ‘Britain’s Sistine Chapel’. Your admission ticket also includes entrance to the Victorian Skittle Alley, a rare example of an early skittle alley, with a fascinating insight into the lives of the Greenwich Pensioners who inhabited the site.

You should certainly make the most of the expert ‘500 years of History’ tours and specialist talks in the Painted Hall running each day, with special film tours exploring why the Old Royal Naval College has been named as probably “the most popular filming location in the world”. These tours are bookable in advance, and the film tours run on weekends only.

Tickets include use of a multimedia guide, available in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Japanese and Mandarin, plus an Explorer Map for navigating your way around site.

What can I see for free?

All are welcome to our free Visitor Centre which has a wealth of information about our site. Visitors are welcome to explore our extensive riverside grounds open daily. They are a perfect place to relax, stroll, or have a picnic, surrounded by some of the finest buildings in the world. You can also visit the Chapel of St Peter and St Paul to admire the neoclassical interiors or attend a Chapel Service.
